Nwagi appears to be a believer of the old adage 'beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder' but she does not trust the public eye to hold any of the tenderness her beloved might possess.
She fears negative criticism for her choice and the aftermath of a breakup which usually comes with being called a tramp.
"I can no longer show off my lover in the media because I fear negative criticism. Lovers can separate anytime, and I don't want to be described as a whore by social media in-laws," she said in recent interview.
About 5 years ago, the self-proclaimed Firebaby endured a public break up from long-term boyfriend and father of her daughter Joshua Rukundo who goes by his stage name Generala Czar'bu. The two met during their early music days at Coca Cola Rated Next and were inseparable thereafter.
Through a series of disappointments, with Rukundo reportedly missing out on appointments with his daughter as well as failing to providing for her alongside domestic violence allegations, the couple fell apart and eventually broke up.
The singer took to her social media to vent about her frustrations with Rukundo, sparking an angry exchange between the former lovers.
Since then Nwagi's love life has been as silent as a grave, but apparently not dead. She noted that she is thriving in her new relationship in the comfort her lover's anonymity and the name Czar'bu rings old distant bells.
