Weasel’s mother says son and wife Teta deeply in love, inseparable

The mother of singer Douglas Lwanga (alias Weasel Manizo), Proscovia Musoke, dismissed reports that her daughter-in-law Sandra Teta was being harassed, affirming that Teta and Weasel are deeply in love.

"There is a lot of gossiping. Everyone says what they want. They are saying we hid Sandra and confiscated her phone. She is freely moving around town and she has her phone," Musoke said while appearing on BBS TV.

"Sandra loves Weasel so much. All her life rotates around Weasel... As per now, all her heart is feeling is Weasel. They love each other so much and they themselves know what happened. We are also surprised by how much they love each other. It's beyond control," she claimed, laughing.

"No one can separate them... We were actually planning an introduction ceremony around June... but some things happened but the plan is still on. The truth is that they love each other. My grand kids [Weasel and Teta's children) are beautiful and in good health."

Musoke said that instead of spreading rumours, people should wait for Teta to file a case with the police, so they can follow it.

"Before that, let them mind their business," she said.

Police spokesman, Fred Enanga, told this reporter on Monday that they had interrogated the couple and a report on the case would be released soon.

People who know Weasel have said that it's drug abuse that is unlocking his dark side, but the mother had a different opinion when she was asked about his state of mind.

"No... He is in good condition. Have you seen any problem with him? He is very fine. Ugandans talk a lot, what they know and don't know," she said.

Some people like Claire Nangajja aka Mama Ghetto and Daniella Atim, who is married to Jose Chameleone, Weasel's brother, say that Teta has been put in a position where she can't easily speak out because of threats.
