Before fully putting his focus on music, Rickman was an active professional footballer playing for Sävedalen IF, a second division team in Gothenburg city in Sweden.
Rickman fully relocates to Uganda
Musician Rickman Manrick popularly known for his hit song Bango has been a hit artiste for over three years in Uganda. However much he has been doing good music, he hasn’t been fully based in the country but on and off.

He was once also a student teacher at the Kvarnbyskolean School for Children with autism.
Rickman, real name Derrick Ddungu, has now confirmed fully coming back to Uganda and settling down to fully focus on his musical career and he made this announcement through his twitter account.
“You have been asking me for music and I can now say, I’ve relocated back to Uganda to concentrate on giving you hits after hits!! No more ghosting on y’all!! I will need your support and love through this journey!! RICKMAN MANRICK 2022” he tweeted.
He says he has been making a lot of music and he will be dropping his first song this year soon which features Eddy Kenzo.
His girlfriend, Sheila Gashumba quoted his tweet confirming the news saying, “Finally y’all can stop saying that I stopped @RickmanManrick from releasing music!! @RickmanManrick has officially relocated back to Uganda!! New music every 6 weeks!! Now who is ready.” and she ended the quote with fire emojis.
Rickman is commonly known for his hit songs like Bango, Naki and Leka Tunyumirwe.
