Omar has released a number of hit songs and music videos in the past since returning to the country to pursue a career in music. These are a testament to his hard work, love for music and big investments in quality work, but only a few collaborations have enjoyed airplay.
Prince Omar takes 'third chance' at music career under Fefe Bussi's manager
Ugandan singer Umar Mukose, popularly known as Prince Omar is gearing up to release new music after signing under Fefe Bussi's Baddest Music management.
Despite working with some of the big record labels like former Jah Live, Black Market Records and Turnt Nation Management, his career has not had a proper take off, which is attributed to his lack of consistency and commitment.
This has not stopped him from joining Baddest Music manager Arafat to get another shot at establishing himself in the industry.
“I have signed with Arafat. We are now working together at Baddest Music Label,” Prince Omar revealed over the weekend.
Baddest Music management has signed a number of prestigious music brands like Chozen Blood, Tip Swizzy, Fefe Bussi among others. Perhaps he will finally receive the royal treatment as his name suggests but Arafat promised him more wins from here on.
The "Koona" singer is reportedly dropping an EP soon under his new management.
Towards the end of last year, he released a music album of 20 tracks titled "Rocket". The album has songs like Angellian, Binkolere, Follow, Glass, Jennifer, Masanyu Dagala, Merry Christmas, Money, My Baby, My Woman, Ngwesiga, Nze Nawe, Oli Eyo, Onanagisa, Ovuga, Time, Twazikola, Wantegela, Whine and Yege Yege. He did not feature any artist or do collaborations.
