Pastor Bugembe reveals why he 'chucked' Remmie, birthday wish

Remmie came with a cake to the Light the World Ministries leader's home and it was a spirited moment as they danced and shared jokes.

In a video seen by this reporter, Remmie tells the pastor that he 'chucked' her and the pastor says she's now a married woman.

Remmie wittingly replies: "What does getting married mean? Is that why we are no longer friends? You didn't marry me!"

The chatty TV presenter got engaged to Raymond Bindeeba in October of 2021 in a grand bash that was attended by artistes like Aziz Azion, Spice Diana, Mikie Wine and Geosteady. Their wedding was held in June of this year. Reports indicate that the couple met in Istanbul Turkey, as Remmie, also known as Ray P accompanied Diana on a tour.

Pastor Bugembe told Remmie he couldn't afford the kind of party they threw for their wedding.

"I don't have the kind of money he injected into the wedding," he said. "You want a man who loves you like that."

Remmie consoles the pastor saying a fundraiser would come in handy. "We have sheep," she said.

Bugembe says we are building a church, "and now you want us to go into marrying Remmie?"

"You are now my true sister," Bugembe said.

Meanwhile , Bugembe said his wish is "getting married".

In January, he shared a photo of himself holding a bouquet of flowers on his Instagram and Facebook and captioned it: “I am in love.”

In August of 2021, a photo of the pastor and an unidentified lady showing off her engagement ring rocked the internet, but he said she was just one of his many female friends.

"She is married to a white but she hails from Nansana. So when she hosted me to a dinner I asked her to show the public that she is married to someone but I was shocked to find that the photo went viral," she said.

Wilson is one of Kampala's eligible bachelors with a good chunk of change, so to speak, so one of the factors stopping him from getting married can't be finances.
