Masaka Kids Africana feature in David Guetta's latest 'Ameno' remix
Dance group, Masaka Kids Africana has prevailed in putting Uganda on the global stage after appearing in the visuals of French entertainer David Guetta's remix of 'Ameno'.

“Ameno” first went viral during the lockdown taking the internet by storm, especially TikTok. It was originally done by Goya Menor but was remixed by Nektunez and has since become one of the biggest African songs in the world.
With its Amapiano vibe, currently enjoyed worldwide, the song attracted Guetta's attention. The record producer who has over 10 billion streams across the world invited the Masaka Kids Africana to collaborate on the remix visuals with him and thanked them.
He announced the remix release through his Instagram account where he showed a clip of the video. In the caption, he tagged the Masaka Kids Africana and thanked them for the collab.

Masaka and Nansana are two of the most trolled cities on the internet, they are famous for strange events and stranger people. While Nansana recently showed off it's ingenuity through impersonating artists, notably Jamal Wasswa, Masaka has given over Suuna Ben and Masaka Kids Africana.
Like their first torchbearers, the Ghetto Triplets who hit the world stage with Kenzo's "Sitya Loss", the Masaka Kids Africana is a dance group of kids from the slums. The group has gradually come up on the local scene to soaring the international scene with a nomination from Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards 2022 edition.
They were nominated under "Favourite African Kidfluencer" at a chance to beat talents from around the world for the win.
The group also enjoys a flourishing YouTube channel with over 2 million subscribers, that brings them a handsome pay of about 100,000 USD. They have also been credited by one of the biggest female entertainers of her generation Janet Jackson, sister to Micheal Jackson.
