Kato Lubwama health worsens after operation

According to sources, the former MP is currently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit [ICU] in Turkey.

He is currently being taken care of by his son who says the former Member of Parliament was flown to turkey for cancer treatment.

According to reports was rushed to the ICU just days after going through a successful operation.

While appearing in an interview on local television, Kato Lubwama’s son urged Ugandans should put Kato Lubwama in their prayers for a quick recovery.

Former Rubaga South Member of Parliament Kato Lubwama travelled to Turkey early this month and on March 14th he went through a successful operation at Medicana Hospital, Konya in Turkey where he is currently admitted.

Years back he went through a successful heart surgery and he had fully recovered. The news about his successful operation was shared by Kasuku, a media personality and Kato Lubwama’s son.

“Kato Lubwama has successfully undergone an operation in Turkey. He is out of the theatre and doing well. He says ku lunno temwasonze yabawonye nakamanyiro kamwe,” Kasuku posted on his Facebook account.

“So guys just got a call from Kato Lubwama's child, he had an OP earlier that was successful. However, he complained of constant pain and heart complications so he was rushed to ICU where he is up to now. Your prayers will come in handy. He's in Turkey,” Kasuku added.

Kato Lubwama is a Ugandan politician, drama actor, musician, songwriter, comedian, former radio presenter at CBS FM and businessman. He is also known for being so passionate about theatre plays, drama as well as music.
