Despite announcing the concert at the start of the year, his social media channels and management have not done any fan engagement leading to the concert. Unless the singer is conducting the very first silent concert advertisement leaving clues in his new music for fans to follow until the date, there's no sign of a concert on the horizon.
Is Pallaso biting off more than he can chew with the July concert?
Team Good Music boss Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso announced his 2022 concert slated for July 1 and July 2 but the singer has not put out content to build up to the event.
Following the concert announcement, Team Good Music started a countrywide tour of activations dubbed "Golden Tour Border2Border" leading to the main event at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Unfortunately, the "Malamu" singer sustained a knee injury in the course of these performances which he then forced himself to attend in a wheel-chair. He has had to have surgery done on the knee and was rumoured to be travelling to the United States to get better medical attention.
Although his commitment to entertain has been admirable to fans, music critics have rained down criticism on the singer saying he cannot deliver a good show with a leg injury. The singer is known for his energetic performances which the injury could put a damper on.
His management is yet to issue a statement on the state of his injury, or to postpone the concert. Pallaso recently released a single titled "True Love" and a collaboration titled "Mpulira Bulungi" with his brothers Joseph Mayanja, alias Jose Chameleone and Douglas Mayanja, alias Weasel. He was recently in Rukungiri for a performance.
