"That woman doesn't give up. [Laughs]. I mean, I saw that little girl when she was a dancer. She even danced for me," Cool said.

Bebe Cool is still in awe of Sheebah Karungi's transformation in the music industry.

"She reached a point and realised dancing was not rewarding and decided to hold the microphone. Her voice was bad at the start. Then she worked on it... Sheebah is now an old woman, but her dancing skills are still a marvel."
Cool made the remarks at the start of this year while unveiling his annual controversial list. Karungi appeared on the list because of her song Ayi on which she collaborated with Mudra Viral.
Meanwhile, Karungi, who mostly goes by Sheebah, has herself said that she's always been despised.
"People who talk, that's not new to me, I've always been doubted. I've always been underestimated. I've been despised ever since I joined the music industry. So, it's not something I've to think about a lot... Regardless of what they said, I'm here. It's more about believing in myself, than them believing in me,” she said ahead of her concert last year.
"Then after I believe in myself, they will believe in me. Haven't heard the saying, if you can't beat them, join them. So, they won't be able to beat me, they will join me at a certain point. Also, if you focus on what people are saying, you can't win. People have always told me I can't handle, right from when I joined dancing."
She was responding to those who thought she couldn't pull off a two-day concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
