“I've to accept and leave this life I'm in because he doesn't get embarrassed and he doesn't care, and he doesn't fear anything.
He's the one who recorded it. How can an old person be recorded having sex? There's nothing interesting about his naked body. I wouldn't do it myself.
As Angel, I won't put myself in the spotlight the way Lwasa does, the things he's doing to himself. I won't fear talking about him. I failed to understand how he thinks. That man is very bad. Very bad.
He has never bought me a car. That has been my money. I worked for it while at Club Tavern Kick where he says I stole Shs50 million. When I started working at Tavern, he didn't even give me capital, not even Shs2000.
I didn't even find a bottle of water. I used my savings on Mobile Money to jumpstart the club and started working because I love working.
[Lwasa owns Club Tavern Kick, which is located in Kyabakuza, Masaka, and Angel was the manager.]
But the time he's been promising me and the things I've withstood, what do I want? I don't see why I'm enduring this mess. Let me leave him. I don't have a child with him. We don't have a business we run together.
He doesn't give me money. He's not the one taking care of me to look as good as I'm. He doesn't take care of me. What am I looking for? Has he ever taken me shopping? He has never taken me shopping.
He has never taken me out to an expensive spot. The best he did was take me to Comedy Store. Aside from that, he prefers Bufunda, and I don't sit in those Bufunda. It's embarrassing for people of our status to hang out in such places. I live like a classy person even when I don't have money.
I have been classy since I was young. What is class? Respect. The class I'm talking about is respect. If you're not respected, I've nothing to do. [Prior to this, Angel had appeared on TV and boasted about how Lwasa always splurges on her: My husband is a giver, he always has enough money in his pocket, and Shs500,000 is just for my Yaka and lunch.]
[On why she couldn't help him stop the videos from leaking]:
Apart from me, doesn't he have other people he can rely on? Doesn't he have relatives and friends? If he can appear on TV and say I want that big woman so I can hear it, will he allow to have a conversation with me?
If he has no self-respect, will he allow me to respect him? If he has no self-respect, can you sit down with such a person and discuss a good or bad issue? He can't and because of that, I also have nothing to do for him. Lwasa, I just look at him, I gave up on him a long time ago.
I've just been with him out of respect for the boss of us because people at home know I got married but they don't know he is a very bad person. You the onlookers don't know that even in the bedroom, he is terrible. You don't know.
It's just that it's now beyond my control but I wouldn't be talking. But that man is very bad. There's a time he came and told me that he'll pay people to abuse me. What does he know about me to do that to me?
The things I know but have kept quiet about are many and not good. But I don't blackmail him like the rest do because they need Shs100,000 from him... He gives me nothing. On my side, he is bad. My side.”
Meanwhile, Lwasa has announced that will be throwing a wedding party for his new girlfriend on October 29.
