The jolly couple reportedly flew to the Spanish capital, where Cristiano, 36, owns a £4.8million villa, after he was ruled out of his side’s FA Cup match against Aston Villa because of a hip injury.
Cristiano and Georgina jet to Madrid on £20m private jet
As many people are still debating about the Portuguese captain’s future at Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez jetted to Madrid for a romantic meal and night at a luxury hotel.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez, who is heavily pregnant and due to add to their family again in three months’ time with a twin boy and girl, are thought to have used Cristiano’s £20m jet to leave the UK.
They are said to have dined at Amos Restaurant whose executive chef Jesus Sanchez is a holder of three Michelin stars.
The upmarket eatery, which specialises in northern Spanish food, is one of two restaurants at Rosewood Villa Magna Hotel in Madrid. It is also Cristiano’s favorite from his time at Real Madrid before he moved to Juventus and then Manchester United on a two-year deal at the start of this season.
Reports say that the dad of four and his partner Rodriguez dined alone.
“They only had eyes for each other. They both wore black and the clothes Georgina had on showed off her baby bump.” a source said.
“They didn’t go to the restaurant directly but sat on the hotel terrace first and ordered drinks before going into the restaurant.”
The power couple, who met and fell in love in Madrid in 2016 while Cristiano was still with his old side Real Madrid, are said to have gone up to their suite at the hotel after a £72-a-head testing menu focused on fresh vegetables and fish.
The reason for their visit and why they chose to stay at a hotel instead of their home on a gated estate called La Finca near Madrid isn’t clear to the public.
It is also thought that the picture Cristiano posted on Tuesday morning on his Instagram all looking relaxed in a pair of shorts and a baseball cap by a lake, was taken in the Spanish capital.
