While appearing on local television yesterday, she said that she’s been waiting for so long for police as she’s been moving to different police stations and pastors over this issue but without getting any assistance.
City Pastor Mondo in child neglect scandals
City Pastor Franklin Mondo Mugisha of Empowerment Christian Centre Church International has been accused of child neglect by one Sarah Nakuya.

“I sat down with him as a grown up and urged him to provide for the child in vain. I didn’t want to embarrass him until I was left with no choice,” said Sarah.
She adds that for a long period of time the pastor has been summoned to court over child negligence but he hasn’t been showing up.
One time when he was summoned and showed up, he was asked to contribute a monthly allowance to the child’s upkeep but he only did it twice and gave up. Now, according to Sarah, it has been over three years without getting any child support from Mondo.

She adds that her child, who is currently in primary six aged 11 years, cannot go to school because she has no money for school fees.
Pastor Mondo who fled the country early last year and is currently living in the US has now been summoned by the Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court over child neglect.
