Azawi and Fik Fameica’s Majje song feature number one on Apple Music

Ever since the song was released, it’s been receiving massive airplay both on local and international streaming music sites.

Early this month, the video to the song was released on Azawi’s YouTube channel and has also received massive views from the channel.

The song that is currently one of the top songs in Uganda comes off Azawi’s debut album called African Music.

The news about the songs featuring on Apple Music has been shared by the sensational singer herself on her social media platforms.

“Thank y’all for listening #Majje has been featured on the N0.1 Apple Music Hits playlist in Africa,” Azawi posted on her Facebook.

Apple Music is an audio and video streaming service developed by Apple Inc where different users select music to stream to their device on-demand and they can also opt to listen to existing playlists.

This comes after the song was voted for as the best inspirational song and Azawi as the best female artist as well as Azawi best songwriter in the just concluded Zzina awards.

The song that is currently one of the top songs in Uganda comes off Azawi’s debut album called African Music.

Azawi released her debut album in October and was streaming number one album in Africa on Apple Music for over a week and the album has been praised as one of the best in Africa for 2021.

Azawi, real name Priscilla Zawedde, is a multi-talented singer and songwriter from Uganda. She has written many songs for many other Ugandan artists like Kenzo, Pia Pounds, Vinka, Lydia Jazmine and . She is signed under one of Uganda’s record labels, Swangz Avenue, the same company that manages Vinka and Winnie Nwagi.

The super talented female artiste dropped her debut album “African Music” on 9th October 2021. In 2019, Azawi dropped an EP called “Lo-Fit” which won her many fans and followers. The EP featured songs like Quinamino, Repeat it, and Lo Fit.

She is currently out of the country on a music tour. She recently held a successful show in London and Turkey.
