"I am in the best mood & spirit to go back & work for our country. I will always love u [sic]."
Anite started tweeting about the holiday on July 6, saying: "Did you know that Ministers are entitled to 1 month-holiday in a year? If you didn't know then watch me spread my wings as I enjoy my exciting holidays."
During the holiday, the couple went to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Antalya, Canada, Turkey and France where they visited Disney's Newport Bay Club and the Eiffel Tower.
During the trip, the minister would share pictorial moments and attach captions that would spike polarising conversations, with some showing love and others reminding her it could end in tears.
For instance, when she shared the tweet praising her husband, a tweep with the handle @SebeyiS replied: "The pain of thanking a man for a holiday you paid for!"
Anite, who is not known to back down on social media fights, would take on some of them.
For instance, when @SumayahNabawan1 said "you will be disappointed if you found out exactly how he feels about you. Those ones are not easy", Anite responded: "I only care about how I feel about him."
Some like David Kabanda, the Member of Parliament for Kasambya County, showed love: "Enjoy my sister, let the haters go and hang!"
But the love came along with haters like Kampala Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyanjura, who responded to Kabanda: "I am the hater should I hang?" Kabanda told her he "was joking".
Going by Anite's posts, the two have been together for 10 years.
