Of late, as we do the countdown for the president to officially and fully open up hangout places, the weather has been acting funny especially in the mornings and evenings. Kampala slayers have been making social media another platform for their cries about the unfavorable weather situations.

First things first, dressing in warm, heavy clothes, gloves and scarf. These clothes made from wool, cotton or heavy fabrics are the warmest. You can add to their warmth by adding socks and slippers while indoors, just to keep your feet cosy.
Next is you have to really close doors and all windows to let no cold air enter your room just in case you're indoors. For those that have gotten money, you can buy thermal linings for curtains to keep the heat in.
Don't use alcohol to keep warm because blood vessels in the skin expand but after drinking, this heat goes away from your vital organs.
Check your heating in the house, even if it's Jan-worry for some people, those that have heating systems it's better getting them serviced regularly to make sure they work well.
Maintain the temperature
Keep your main living room at normal temperatures. If you can’t heat all the rooms you use, better heat the living room during the day and the bedroom just before you go to sleep.
Have warm food and drinks such as porridge, soups and stews. These will no doubt keep you warm all the time, be it at the office.
Keep yourself so active
Try keeping yourself and body as active as possible to boost your blood circulation. You can do this by trying to make movements around your office or home area. This will help keep you warm rather than sitting in one area.
Harness the sun during the day by opening the blinds and curtains of your doors. You have to make sure you let in the sunlight. Also, during the night, close the blinds and curtains to insulate your home.
