The event was held at one of Swangz Avenue’s film production warehouses and it was graced by an impressive lineup of key industry figures, each lending their expertise and insights to inspire the next generation of creatives.

Among the luminaries present was Anel Tunes, a celebrated Sound Mixing Engineer whose words resonated deeply with the graduates.

"Experience is a teacher. Keep practicing, and when you fall, rise. As creatives, your craft flourishes through practice. Your creative potential is boundless," Anel emphasised, urging the graduates to channel their influence into shaping the future.

"Collaboration and partnership are the cornerstones of elevation. Remember, even researchers require creatives to record their groundbreaking processes," Julius noted, urging the graduates to embrace collaboration and value their roles.

An inspirational address was also delivered by Benon Mugumbya, Head of Production at Swangz Avenue. "In our creative world, doors will sometimes be closed, and your best work might be criticised. But remember, winners are those who pick themselves up and try again," he shared, encouraging the graduates to remain open to learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The event was not only a celebration of the graduates' accomplishments but also an affirmation of the unique approach adopted by Swangz Creative Academy. With an 80% practical teaching model, students are given the tools and opportunities to unlock their creative potential. The hands-on teaching technique equips them with practical skills that are invaluable in the fast-paced world of creative arts.

Swangz Avenue, a prominent player in Uganda's creative scene, aims to shape a new generation of artists equipped with the skills necessary to thrive in various creative disciplines.

The academy offers courses in audio production, cinematography, digital video editing, live broadcasting, scriptwriting, and film production. The institution has already left an indelible mark on the creative landscape, and with the upcoming intake scheduled for September 4th, the academy continues to build a legacy of innovation, collaboration, and artistic excellence.
